$ ssh -l jorendorff mpt-vpn.mozilla.com
You must be a member of cn=mptvpn,ou=groups,dc=mozilla to login.

Incidentally I can't connect via openvpn either, using Tunnelblick or Viscosity.
All told I'd rather use ssh, but of course any path to success would be perfectly acceptable.
