Following the first funnelcake builds, and the desire to do this more frequently, we need to make producing the builds easier.

Bug 551720 / attachment 437575 [details] [diff] [review] had a patch to http://hg.mozilla.org/build/partner-repacks/ to make this easier for the first build.

Steps to fix up automation etc:
- Allow distribution.ini to specify preferences. This would mean we just have to provide a distribution.ini and not a prefs file as well - which fits better with the existing partner-repacks repository.

- Find a way to alter urls that we monitor without those urls being broken if we change them (e.g. planned what's new upgrade).

- Do we want to display "Funnelcake / 1.0" separately in the about window? Firefox does this, but I believe it is primarily for partner builds, not necessarily funnelcakes.

- Provide a proper patch to the partner-repacks directory so that it supports Firefox or Thunderbird via a command line switch.

- Potentially hook up the repacks scripts to buildbots, so that when we do a point release we'll automatically get equivalent funnelcake builds as well.

This is the tracking bug for all of this, I'll raise individual bugs as we go forward.

AFAIK we're not planning on doing funnelcake builds at the moment. If we do later we can re-open this and fixing some of the issues will be easier as we've now implemented distribution.ini in Thunderbird.
