Firefox/Gecko used to have a hang grabber for grab scrolling in Mac versions. In recent year it is gone. You use to click option command and click-hold and you could pull the web page at your desired speed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to webpage that has some length and text in Firefox for Mac higher than 3.0
2. press command option click and hold.
3. No hand grabber appears like they did in the past
Actual Results:  
No hand grabber appears like they did in the past

Expected Results:  
Hang grabber appears to allow hand grab scrolling

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Just tried it with FF 3.6.12 in Safe Mode and normal mode.

Results: Negative

The hand grabber is still not there like it as in earlier versions of Firefox/Gecko

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
