Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 Build Identifier: TB latest There is no option to configure socks proxy timeout interval in TB. ALSO TB trys to make direct connection when set up to use only http proxy. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.set up a http proxy 2.advance only fill http and ssl fields, leave socks alone 3.Get a decent firewall and set to inform you if TB makes connections. Actual Results: TB tries to make a direct connection when set up to use http proxy THERE is NO option to configure SOCKS timeout interval. Expected Results: TB should use the HTTP proxy THere should be an option to set up a SOCKs timeout interval.
This is one bug about http proxy and one so called request about making an option that gives the users to set up SOCKS timeout interval.

It seems that SOCKS timeouts were added by bug 280661. Bug 264981 is about supporting proxies over HTTP CONNECT.
