I think fixing the dependent bug will make this one go away, but leaving open for now in case I'm wrong.
Depends on: 563762

For one thing, bug 563762 has been marked as a dupe of bug 482441, so switching the dep. For the other, has this been fixed? The given URLs don't bring up anything now, but that's probably because those versions are too old. Tomcat, does this problem persist nowdays?

if there are still reports in the db for that signature then removing the date range should return results. Something like this query. https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?signature=google_breakpad%3A%3AExceptionHandler%3A%3AWriteMinidump%28bool%29&version=Firefox%3A3.6.4pre that returns no results, so the bug could exist. The bug is likely to be in escaping all the strange characters we put into signature names, and then try to make sure they all get escaped to be valid urls.

Without STR, it's pretty hard to go about fixing this. Will reopen when we get a concrete test case that still exists.
