User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100414 Prism/1.0b3 Firefox fails to start on ubuntu 10.04 when prism is installed standalone via ubuntu software center. When disabling the plugin that it sticks in firefox automatically, via safe mode in firefox, all works well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install a clean copy of ubuntu 10.04 (32 bit) 2. install mozilla firefox 3.6.3 from mozilla.com 3. try loading firefox (should work) 4. install prism from the ubuntu software center 5. try to load firefox (wont work) 6. load firefox in safe mode and disable the prism addon 7. load firefox in normal mode (should work) Actual Results: firefox 3.6.3 will fail to load at all (not even console output) when the prism addon is in firefox. Expected Results: firefox should load and notify if the addon is incompatible else load fine
Marking this as Resolved WontFix as this bug is now very out of date with current versions of Firefox and Prism is no longer under as much development if any.
