Any time I enter a search string in the toolbar search box I get an error.

The error details:
Debug Error:[Exception... "Node was not found" code: "8" nsresult: "0x80530008 (NS_ERROR_DOM_NOT_FOUND_ERR)" location: "chrome://ffamazonhot/content/lib/Extension.debug.js Line: 366"]
I select OK and the error window simply continues to pop up again. I have to kill Firefox and launch the browser again in order to perform my work.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter a search string in the Firefox search bar
2. Hit Enter
3. Error message box pops up.
Actual Results:

Expected Results:
Browser performs a search using Google and displays the search results.

ffamazonhot is from an addon, could be https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/11542
Please disable and, restart Firefox and try it again.
It's always a good idea to run Firefox in the Firefox safemode before you report a bug here or ask for help at the support

Also looks like you have funwebproducts, which is malware, and should be removed. Use malwarebytes or something similar to remove it. It causes plenty of problems.

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
