User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.396.0 Safari/533.8 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.0.4 When searching an email with a keyword in whole mails and in every accounts, I have results that link to nothing. It means that when I click on a result link to view the full email, it opens a new tab with nothing in it. I figured out that those found emails where emails that I previously (a long time ago) moved to some archived folder. So they still exist but the search feature doesn't link to them. It's the same as if they were lost. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create an archive folder and move an email in it 2.Search this email 3.Click on it Actual Results: A new tab opens up with nothing in it. Expected Results: It should have shown the email I was searching for.

This might be caused by database problems created by earlier versions/nightlies. Does this still occur if you quit Thunderbird, delete global-messages.sqlite, and restart TB (and wait for the database rebuild ...). On the other hand, you should maybe keep your old DB for forensic analysis ...
Yep you were right. I did what you told me, and now it works like a dream. Should I do anything with this ex-database now? Thanks.
I think there was a bug where message moves where not correctly recorded in Gloda. I had the same problem as you. So this is at least under investigation ... I think you can just delete your old database. Could you close this bug as RESOLVED WORKSFORME? Thanks!
