This is a follow up bug from bug 457536. 
The icons that show if an event starts, ends, or "continue" on a day of the agenda, need to be changed with nicer icons.

Attachment: Suggestion for displaying an event that spans multiple days

As an alternative to improving the icons, I suggest changing the display method so that the event is shown as a solid block that spans several days. I think this approach may be more clear than anything that can be done with icons.

To clarify my suggestion, I've attached an image file that shows both the way it's currently displayed and the alternative way that I'm suggesting. I used "3-day event" as the title of the event. Thanks!

I very much agree, and I think we have a bug for that. Unfortunately it is not quite that easy since each day box is a separate box. The events in each box will have to be sorted in a way that it fits with the rest of the week. It is not impossible, but also harder than a stop gap changing some icons. Given this bug is 9 years old we'll see though what we can get to first.

The feature of having an event of multiple days in only one solid block will make the calendar more easy to understand.
