Note: this is pretty tricky to confirm
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to slowly move your device to a 45 degree angle and then back
2. Try to slowly move your device to a 60 degree angle and then back
3. Try to slowly move your device to a 90 degree angel and then back
Actual Results:
The orientation flips on steps 1-3
Expected Results:
The orientation only flips on step 3

This is more persistent after e10s landed as the orientation switches at a 30 degree angel now as well.

Fennec doesn't actually watch for angles. Fennec listens for the OS to say "go portrait" or "go landscape". It's entirely up to the OS to determine what orientation is "portrait" or "landscape"

So, can we get some kinda of evangelism here to the Maemo guys saying that their new OS update might be causing this then? 1.2 seems to have made this worse.
