Here is a program that may solve this issue: http://www.jmaxxz.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=89:flashhacker&catid=16:downloads&Itemid=32 It is not guaranteed to work, so use it at your own risk, but it worked for me!

Flash uses this functionality where if you click outside, it closes the fullscreen mode. This is the intended functionality, and there are dlls you can replace (http://my.opera.com/d.i.z./blog/2009/04/22/watch-fullscreen-flash-while-working-on-another-screen) to keep the video in fullscreen.
Flash has change this behaviour by default from some time ago now, so this is resolved But the same problem happens with the native fullscreen API, should a new bug be filled to decide the default behaviour?

I can also reproduce this in Ubuntu 11.04 with Version: Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102 with FF 10 to FF 13 (nightly).
OS: Windows 7 → All

(In reply to neb1236 from comment #4) > But the same problem happens with the native fullscreen API, should a new > bug be filled to decide the default behaviour? Bug #706555 was logged as a separate issue for html5 videos.
