User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100423 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100423 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.3

It is currently not possible to decide whether a "move" operation will simply rename the file(s), or copy + delete them. I am implementing this operation myself (to allow progress notification, aborting, ...) and I am unable to find out what aproach must be taken.

Ideally, the nsILocalFile should expose some unique filesystem ID, so one can compare two files to see if they reside on same filesystem.
