RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 560877

Details

User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.0; U; en) Presto/2.5.24 Version/10.53
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100317 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.0.4

When I reply to an email with inline images, the images appear briefly in the composition window, the disappear leaving an outline box with the broken image icon in the corner. I have to select and delete them from the reply or I get the error "Sending of message failed.
There was an error attaching . Please check if you have access to the file." (copy and pasted) when I try to send the reply.

It does not happen to inline images or attached images in new messages.

I tried dragging the image from the message view into the reply after deleting it and the result is the same.

When I right-click and Copy Image Location, I get something like this (only user name changed):
mailbox:///C|/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/c13eh7dn.default/Mail/Local%20Folders/Inbox.sbd/-%20To%20Me?number=276387907&part=1.2&filename=image001.jpg

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Reply to (or forward) message with inline images
Actual Results:
I get the message "Sending of message failed.
There was an error attaching . Please check if you have access to the file."

It might be related in some way to bug 544905 because we do use Yahoo's mail servers to store email (not to send it), but the only workaround I have found is to save the images and attach them again.
