User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009111918 Camino/2.0 (like Firefox/3.0.15) Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.0.4 When sending emails, (large ones) the progress window on this version has no Minimise button, and the progress window does not minimise automatically when the actual emil being sent is minimised. When I send several emails with large attachments, I am stuck with several progress windows that are on my desktop until the send is complete,...no way to minimise them. The previous versions had a minimise button. Please re-instate it on the new version. Cheers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.compose an email with a large attachment. 2.Hit "SEND" 3.Try to minimise the progress window. Actual Results: Progress window is present Expected Results: If it had a minimise button, I could have minimised it. OS X 10.6.3
Against comment 0, both in tb2 and tb3.1.1 (reporter has 3.0.4), the progress dialogue minimizes when minimizing the compose window. Not sure if that's very discoverable... but isn't it sufficient? However, minimising and reinstoring the compose window couple of times while attaching/sending 240 MB confuses TB to the extent that it stops responding (white window). (In reply to comment #0) > The previous versions > had a minimise button. Please re-instate it on the new version. Not in TB 2 - which version then?
