Instead of remembering a username, password, and secret phrase, the user could just have a secret phrase (and their email address).

Main concern here is that there is no user-friendly account name. This would treat any lost password/secret as a lost account with no recovery. Before the only recovery would be to keep the account name, but now that it's random, there isn't much to recover. But down the line with sharing, it could be useful to have a stable end-point for other people to access a given account.
But that could be solved in other ways like registering a name that points to the current user's hex username.
