The current production environment for www.drumbeat.org (drumbeat.acelb.sj.mozilla.com) is probably not sufficient for the amount of traffic we plan to send to the site in the near future.

We'll be announcing the beta soon, which should generate a decent amount of traffic. The last time we did any out of the ordinary promotion (Google snippets) the site went down rather quickly.

Can we move drumbeat to a bigger box / or allocate more resources to the virtual machine? Let me know if you need any more details.

Matthew, do we have anything allocated for this?
Just to be clear, that question is for mrz and not mthompson :)
Whatever we have for spares
Ping. Any updates on this?
Any news on dedicated server for drumbeat.org?

Drumbeat.org is a) dragging and b) needs high availability as June critical for donations campaigns on that site.

Of course, need a good long term solution here / can pay to get our own hardware. But need to get on any dedicated available hardware in short term.
Sorry, other stuff keeps coming up. I'll try to get this going tomorrow.
If there's anything I can do to help, please do ping me. I'd need some kind of access to the servers of course (I currently only have access to staging), but I'm comfortable configuring apache, getting the site up and running with drupal / civicrm, etc.
Any news on getting physical server for Drumbeat? I know Jeremy said he would get to it and you guys are juggling.

From our side: the site is limping along, and more people are showing up to post to it. Need to fix.
oremj's trying to get this staged out in Phoenix.
Wicked. Thanks.
When can I make the switch? The site will probably take about 20 min downtime.
Jeremy, this evening would be an okay time. We don't have any major pushes / announcements that we've made lately. Would 5pm EST / 2pm PST work?
That works for me.
Moved to ProLiant BL460c G6, 12G ram, Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU L5520 @ 2.27GHz CPU in PHX.
