Details
Set to warn cookies in the preferences. Does not matter accept all or
originating web site only.
Go to watever web site that is known to require cookies.
Results: No warning dialog.

tever, can you reproduce this? It's certainly working for me but I'm running on
a win32 box and not a mac. If this is true, then it's real serious and would be
a pull-off-the-wire bug.

Sorry, I did not realize that the particular site I was expecting to get
warnings has been set to accept cookies by previous visit during which "Remember
dicision" was accidentally enabled.
Changing to INVALID.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → RESOLVED
