Single-click (without modifiers) on ftp or http link to some file for which mozilla popups 'save as' dialog Click 'Ok' on that dialog => immediate crash. It doesnt crash if you 'SHIFT'-click on that link.
Petersen: can you please try this on seamonkey?

I've tried this for various FTP sites, including the URL mentioned, and I cannot get the problem to happen. RedHat 6.2 Linux, 10-31 and 11-1 builds.
note: the component is the viewer app -- just in case there was any confusion...
viewer seems to be gone from the linux builds. but I'm not seeing any problems with this in viewer in win32 110204 trunk. I also have seen no crashes in mozilla on linux 110208 mozilla trunk build selecting download directories. Igor Shevchenko, are you still seeing this in a current build

Btw. I encounter this crash also, when trying to drag the sidebar in the save as dialog or when clicking one of the arrows of the sidebar.Build ID 2001041012/Linux Build on FreeBSD
Under Windows 2000 with build 2001080110, when clicking 'File->Save As', mozilla immediately crashes. The same occurs when right-clicking on any link and selecting 'Save Link As', but this requires an additional step of selecting the download location, then clicking 'OK'.
Try to do "Save as" under Windows 2000 with Mozilla Build ID 2001091303. It works well now ! For me you can marks this bug as resolved.
can't reproduce with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910, pulled from cvs ... is this still valid?
reproducible on 1.2b 2002101717/linux to solve this recreate ur profile somebody give me a reason for this bug !!!
Simply deleting the file XUL.mfasl from my profile dir resoved it to me.
By the definitions on <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/bug_status.html#severity> and <http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?format=guided>, crashing and dataloss bugs are of critical or possibly higher severity. Only changing open bugs to minimize unnecessary spam. Keywords to trigger this would be crash, topcrash, topcrash+, zt4newcrash, dataloss.
