As mentioned in a few other places, we want to link to some basic enterprise documentation from the 3.1RC1 relnotes so that enterprise deployers have access to relevant information that will help them move away from Thunderbird 2. The importance of this stems from the non-trivial changes that have happened since Tb2 that are likely to effect enterprise users.

I suspect that the page we want to link to is probably <https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Thunderbird/Deploying_Thunderbird_in_the_Enterprise>, which I've put in the URL field of this bug. It looks to me like that page already leads to much of the relevant information here. My understanding from an earlier email thread is that there's still some work expected to be done on those pages as well; I'll let wsmwk, jenzed, and other chime in there.

A few things that I suspect that page also wants:

* a short intro paragraph?
* some way to get to MCD documentation
* a link to <https://wiki.mozilla.org/Thunderbird:Thunderbird_Post_3.1_Plan> so that enterprise deployers are clear on how Thunderbird is expected to move forward when they're choosing to deploy.

Will this be fixed? Is it still needed? Shouldn't it be in some better Product, like Websites?

But I guess the first question is, is this shout out in release notes to enterprise deployers still wanted? not necessarily because of 3.1 changes of course.

Is relnotes a useful channel for this?

Or do we have 99% of entperprise folk now watching blogs and tb-enteprise mailing list?
This is passed being useful
