all idn domains with .eu are show in the utf8 format.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.type in your browser an idn url like www.frühling.eu
with a white list entry in about:config, the problem should be resolved.
network.IDN.whitelist.eu boolean true

That's not utf-8, that's puny code. That[s how it's transmitted, since utf-8 isn't possible in DNS.
