I know that we don't support Windows because of forking issues, but are there any other reasons that we don't. I just had a user ask for support on this, and I couldn't remember all of the reasons that we don't support Windows, any why Firebot works on Cygwin. My main questions are what prevents Windows support and what if anything could be done about these (beyond the forking question)?
afaik, its just the forking issue.. Mozbot simply crashes when running under ActivePerl, though things like the bugzillamailhandler script for bugmail work just fine with AP. Cygwin perl works just like (or as close to as possible) its unixy cousin, so mozbot works correctly there.
