My request:

"Select All" should select all page text, and all textbox content.

"Copy" should copy both page text, and textbox content, to clipboard, all as one large blob of plain text.

Notes:

Some people may want to "Select All" then press Delete or Backspace to clear a form. But I don't need this. So in this situation, Delete should do nothing, and Backspace should go back, and I won't mind.

Some people may want to "Select All", "Copy", switch tabs, then "Paste" to fill in multiple form fields at once. But I don't need this. So in this situation, "Paste" should be grayed out, and I won't mind.

Some people may want to "Select All", then copy, then paste some format like HTML into another application. I don't know if Fx supports this. But either way, I don't need it. So in this situation, you can disable such functionality, and I won't mind.

Some people may want to "Select All" then drag-and-drop. But I don't need this. So in this situation, you can disable drag and drop if you want, and I won't mind.

Reproducible: Always

Absolutely NOT!!! This horrible request was just implement in 1.7 and it is wrong! EDIT --> Select --> ALL should ONLY select the body contents of the message that get selected, NOT the From/To/Subject lines also! In TB 78 it worked flawlessly, now in 91.7 it pastes the copied text plus a table with the From/To/Subject lines above it that is nigh impossible to get rid of. All I want to do is copy my preferred signature text and image into new messages that I have composed, and now this utility is ruined for me!
The reason I have to use Edit\Select\All in the first place, is that trying to select and copy text and image directly within the message body always omits the inline image and only selects and copies the text, so you're forced to use the Edit Menu Select-All command, but that's yet another bug. What is so frustrating is that the little table that just got pasted is horrendously difficult to get rid of: you have to click in the table, then Format, then Table, then Delete, then Table! This is ridiculous!
My 2¢ worth.
