User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a5pre) Gecko/20100526 Minefield/3.7a5pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a5pre) Gecko/20100526 Minefield/3.7a5pre For MS Visio files with extension *.vsd the "Open With.." option is not available in the "Opening" dialogue. It works, if the file clicked on is renamed to *.vdx (Visio XML). In both cases the file was recognized as "which is a: Microsoft Visio Drawing". Fiddling with mime types on the apache and fiddling in the "Options/Applications" dialogue did not help. Opera and IE do present a "Open With" option - hence I believe it is a Mozilla problem. The problem first occured on Mozilla 3.6.3. I just verified with this version. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click on a link to a visio file named *.vsd 2. Check the Opening dialogue 3. Actual Results: Opening dialogue only presents the Save and Cancel options. Expected Results: Opening dialogue shall present the Open With option.

That's a problem on the webserver ; it is not sending the correct MIME-type for *.vsd files. It is doing it for *.vdx files though.
Hello, @Jo, I have problems agreeing with your comment: 1. there are many people having an issue with Visio files and only with Visio files (giyf.com); I have difficulty believing that all these persons, including myself since years, have badly configured web servers. This guy for example states that he checked the mimetype http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=637149 2. I currently have the issue with Visio files on SharePoint servers, I would tend to assume that Microsoft knows how to properly handle such files, but I'd be more than happy to check it if you tell me how I could do this from the client side (no chance I get the information from the server admins, big corporate IT with people somewhere far away). Bottom line, in my opinion, this bug is more than confirmed. Cheers, Eric
