The Thunderbird welcome page for the Dutch version contains some serious mistakes. You get to see this page each time you do an update. I have discussed this on the mailing list, but the problem is still there. - add-ons om Thunderbird 3 helemaal uw eigen te maken. - E-mailarchiveringg - Postvak IN (why capitals?) - door op de "archiveren"-knop te klikken of op de `A'-toets te drukken. when I was still part of the translation team, we agreed to translate stuff like this thus: de knop “archiveren”, de toets ‘A’ - # Eénklik adresboek - Voor de meer productinformatie, bezoek de Thunderbird Homepage. also: de homepage van Thunderbird.

It had not slipped my mind, but I’ll check the files tonight or tomorrow. As the changes needed a new bug anyway, this can be the one to use.

What still bugs me is ‘Thunderbird Helpcentrum’. Should there be a hyphen, or maybe ‘Helpcentrum voor Thunderbird’?
(In reply to comment #4) > > This should be an en-dash, not a hyphen: > van u - uw taal > van u – uw taal I noticed, but deliberately kept the en-GB form, thus a normal hyphen. You’ll probably feel like it needs to be an en dash in en-GB as well, but as most people won’t even see the difference (as opposed to an em dash), I would not consider this to be a problem. Unless en-GB is willing to change it? > What still bugs me is ‘Thunderbird Helpcentrum’. Should there be a hyphen, or > maybe ‘Helpcentrum voor Thunderbird’? Expected this comment. :) Strictly, there should be a hyphen here indeed, thus making it ‘Thunderbird-helpcentrum’. Even though this does not appear to be the real name of the page (CMIIW), I suppose we could use it anyway. I’d prefer this over ‘helpcentrum voor/van Thunderbird’, just to keep a slight difference in wording with the line below.
Attached file start/index.html v2
Changed: ‘Thunderbird-helpcentrum’.
