If you resize a tab group that tab group will be selected after you release the mouse button.

Also if you click on the tab group name then it changes to a text box for editing.  But no caret is shown.  But also more relevant to this bug is if you click in the edit box to get a caret to show up the caret shows up but also then the tab group is selected.
Also it's really easy to miss the close button by a couple pixels and end up zoomed into a tab in the group you were just trying to close.
