In my computer mail in are automatically deleted (without a chance of reading them ) after approx 20 minutes. Hi Wayne, Thanks for reaction. I am using GDATA for firewall/virus scan. Doesnt make any difference if switched on or off. Funny when looking at taskbar I can see that mails are visible in Thunderbird but when I switch to full screen they are gone.. but not always... cheers, Carel Because I dont want to loose important mails and use gmail as standard but I keep checking if Mozilla is working or not.
this doesn't sound like a thunderbird problem. does it happen with thunderbird started in safe mode? do you have auto compact enabled?
