Linux build 20000101608 branch
1 I did a CUSTOM install with Java 2 (which is pre selected)
2 After the installation completed, I tried to visit http://java.sun.com
3 Instead of loading the applet, I see a "Download Plugin" dialog.
This was working on 1005 build for me.

Waiting for Linux hardware to arrive to verify.
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
At Eric Krock's request, I've taken a stopgap measure until my real linux
hardware arrives: vmware. Let's hope it works well.
I tried this with PR3, and it worked. I think what you're experiencing is due
to bug http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57960. Shrirang, can you
please retest this with today's installer? I don't have access to it right now.

This works fine using 1026 branch build. Resolved/ Fixed.
