Here's a partial patch. For new APIs missing from the docs I added them to md with XXX markers. Also marked "mini platforms" as XXX, since this is confusing to every single person, who doesn't already know what it's about.

The Add-on SDK is no longer a Mozilla Labs experiment and has become a big enough project to warrant its own Bugzilla product, so the "Add-on SDK" product has been created for it, and I am moving its bugs to that product. To filter bugmail related to this change, filter on the word "looptid".

Myk, is this still wanted/needed? There's been no activity since you guys did some triage stuff in March, and it hasn't actually been worked on since it was initially filed in May of last year. (Somewhat of a side question: Will this bug be completely obsoleted by the loader simplification work being done in other bugs?) I'll be back here in a week to close this out if no one objects before then. :)

Comment on attachment 448287 [details] [diff] [review] partial patch Yes, this would still be useful. The current patch doesn't apply anymore, though.

Here's a patch that applies cleanly, although the docs server throws a 500 error when you try to load the doc. Nickolay: do you have any interest in finishing this up?

maybe if I have to read that code again. Since the patch no longer applies, I think it's best to just close the bug. The loader simplifications is a better use of everyone's time.
