RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 282220

People

(Reporter: michael-bugzilla-firefox, Unassigned)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3

For passwords, cookies, etc, firefox displays the sites by normal DNS.

So, for example, www.example.com, forums.example.com, and example.com are all spread over the list.

If they were listed as com.example.forums, com.example.www, and com.example (reverse dns), it would be much easier to find related entries.

Even if they were not listed as such, but merely _sorted_ as such, that would help a great deal.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bring up the cookie list. Or the password list. Or anything that has a hostname list.
