I really like, how Safari previews the the number of new entries for a bookmarked news feed in the bookmark entry itself. Maybe something like that could also be added to Firefox. But by clicking the bookmark, the counter of a specific bookmark should be reset to zero again, because you don't read every kind of news, if you aren't interested.

The add-on "LiveClick" does something similar, but in my opinion, it is such a nice idea, that could be integrated into Firefox directly.
