Try viewing this applet with Mozilla on Mac OS:

Its supposed to create a top level window (java.awt.Frame) but it doesn't work.

Beard tells me this is because this isn't and hasn't ever been implemented in 
Netscape 6 (I don't know if this is Mac specific).

Um, guys, you're now not Java 1.0 compliant on Mac OS. In fact, the Java support 
is worse than Navigator 3.0.

This is somewhat poor. I'd nominate this dogfood, but I've given up all hope of 
anyone spending any time on this.
