It's simple: the latest nightly of Firefox 3.7 (as of June 2nd 2010) has the new add-ons manager. I'm reporting that, if you have accessibility option "find as you type" enabled, the "Search all add-ons" bar doesn't work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the add-ons manager 2. Enable "Find as you type" in Tools > Options > Advanced > General 3. Try using the search field in the add-ons manager. Actual Results: It searches as you type. Expected Results: It should search as when you don't have "find as you type" enabled.

Sorry about that Matti. Bugzilla really needs some kind of measures to improve searching... I didn't search for FAYT so I could never find the correct bug :(
>Sorry about that Matti. No problem ! >Bugzilla really needs some kind of measures to improve searching.. The searching is fine, you only need the right search terms :-)
Moving as 569342 is about making FAYT work
No that bug is about stopping it from popping up when pressing "/" in the search box.
