(Whiteboard: Drumbeat beta)
Right now, the WYSIWYG editor doesn't seem to appear when "filtered HTML" is selected
e.g. here:
https://www.drumbeat.org/node/29199/edit
It's hard to get this content looking sharp without WYSIWYG
Please also allow tags like <h1> <h2> <h3> etc.

Getting lots of complaints from users on this one. They want the ability to make their project description and especially their "about" page look nice. And our changes to filtered vs. unfiltered html has made their pages look kinda ugly.
@ Paul: we also got this offer to help! What do you think?
"In my project page (https://www.drumbeat.org/node/26666/about), the HTML markup is completely gone, making my project page king of very ugly. However, in the "edit" page, the html markup is well-saved. I have noticed that other projects are like that as well. I assume that you already know the problem and are already working on it, so I won't bother you more about the problem itself. I just want to say two things :
- If you need help with that, I can help, just tell me where to start
- Do you know any temporary workaround so that my project doesn't look completely unattractive
Sincerely,
David

editor is enabled for Filtered HTML now. I've also added h1, h2 to the whitelist of tags.

Thanks for the <h#> tags, those help a lot.
The WYSIWYG editor looks nice but was a bit confusing for me because it lacks visual feedback for the styling operations I was using. For instance, if you try to make text bold, either by selecting the text and clicking on the "B[old]" button or by clicking the button before and after the text ala wordpress's WYSIWYG, you see no change in the visual representation of the text within the editor.
I also noticed that if you edit the source html text via the editor's "source" button, any blank lines or carriage returns you make disappear after previewing the document, making it difficult to edit that way.
