The specific that came up when discussing bug 569546 is a template of all the file paths for that release, which would've negated the need to 2 more variable to deal with the previous release using a different file name.

This could go in the $platform_info.txt files, or replace those files.

With rapid release, and the current plans to always ship branded, is this still needed?
I think we have all the information we need at this point in the checksums files...if we need anything else we can file a new bug.
