Tbe site in question? This is an issue with Firefox's password manager.
Re-read the Groups thread you linked in comment 1. The problem is clearly that certain sites are doing things that are incompatible with the current implementation of the Password Manager. If you believe the Password Manager should be changed, you need to file a bug against Firefox, not TE. Unless someone is actively working on getting sites to change their behaviour so they aren't broken with the current implementation, I don't see any point in keeping a TE bug open.
you are right, sabret00the@yahoo.co.uk moved this incorrectly to Tech evangelism. This is a dupe of bug 264201 but you can use the addon that Paul suggested in comment #1
Resolution: INCOMPLETE → DUPLICATE
uh, sabret00the@yahoo.co.uk is the reporter. Paul: Tech Evangelism is about issues with single sites that are not the fault of Mozilla.org products., People that working on Tech Evangelism bugs are asking the sites to fix their broken code. This report is invalid as Tech Evangelism bug and a dupe as product bug.
Thanks for the clarification Matthias, really appreciated.
