FlightDeck needs introductory content for the home page that describes the purpose of the site, summarizes how to use it, and links to tutorials and other relevant documentation.

I'll take this on and try to get something written up by Monday.

This is not final, just a very early draft to demonstrate the general tone for this content:

<h2>Welcome to Add-ons Builder!</h2>

This site is the quickest and easiest way to build an add-on for Firefox using common web technologies. Building an add-on is as simple as pressing the <b>Build an Addon</b> button and typing in your code!

You can use a <a href="">variety of APIs in the core library</a> to add functionality to Firefox, including <a href="">widget</a> and <a href="">context-menu</a>. Check out <a href="">other add-ons</a> for inspiration and take advantage of <a href="">third-party libraries</a> with additional APIs. Or <a href="">read the tutorial</a> for a step-by-step guide to building an add-on using this site.

Happy hacking!

My recommendations:
<h2>Welcome to Add-ons Builder!</h2>

Use Add-ons Builder to quickly and easily develop an extension for Firefox using
common web technologies. Get started by simply pressing the
<b>Build an Addon</b> button and typing in your code!

Don't want to start from scratch? Use a <a href="">variety of APIs in the core library</a> to add
functionality to Firefox, including <a href="">widget</a> and <a
href="">context-menu</a>.  Check out <a href="">other add-ons</a> for
inspiration and take advantage of <a href="">third-party libraries</a> with
additional APIs. Need more Help? <a href="">read the tutorial</a> for a step-by-step guide

That looks great, thanks Mayumi! Here's a version with a few minor edits and the links filled in.

Note: the /tutorial/ link is prospective. Piotr: is that a reasonable place to put the tutorial?
tutorial link is fine

BTW links are automated (Django feature)
/addons/ becomes {% url jp_browser_addons %}
and /api/jetpack-core/module/widget/ is {% url api_module "jetpack-core" "widget" %}

Erm, one more minor edit (Create an Add-on -> Create Add-on):

Excellent!
Just as a side note - we still don't have the content for Getting Started and Tutorials tabs

That's because there is no content for those tabs! :-) There is only one chunk of content, as there isn't so much we need to say on the home page that we need to divide it up into three separate sections.

So the tabs should be removed (even though they are really cool!), and we should display only the single chunk of content specified in this bug.
