User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Thunderbird/3.0.4 Previously when a searched message was deleted from the box and the keyword in the filter was removed, the system dropped you right back where you were in the box. As in, back at or near the same spot in the list of messages. Now, when you delete the searched message(s) and delete the keyword, the system throws you to the beginning or end of the list of messages. In fact, this happens whether you delete the message or not. As soon as you delete the keyword, you are thrown to the top or bottom of the list instead of reverting to the message or view that you started from. MAJOR PITA Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose location in middle of message list 2. Insert keyword 3. Remove keyword 4. Observe new location Actual Results: Bounce to top or bottom of list Expected Results: Return to original location.

I see no change on 3.1.7. I'm very much out of your loop or expertise level. I don't know what 3.1RC2 is or what it means. All I know is that my version is 3.1.7 and the updater tells me it is the most current available version.
I must have been sleepy when I wrote that... I can't reproduce this with trunk build
