After adding the sender email address to my Address book and checking the "allow remote content" box and also changing the "mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image" to false, my pictures are still only showing as attachments.

Pictures are only attached.

Pictures to show in the email

Do you have the vew setting for mails to "full html" or only basic html or text ?
The only options Ihave for that setting are "Original HTML", "Simple HTML" or "Plain Text". Mine is set to Original HTML.  Thanks for responding.
