The WBR element doesn't seem to be rendered in the M17 talkback for linux. For the time being I have ended the NOBR and started a new NOBR where needed. Also, I just noticed this on this page http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi?Bugzilla_login=rico%40suave.net&Bugzilla_password=aocfnywg&product=Browser&GoAheadAndLogIn=Login where the drop down box continues to show a box after clicking on it. That may very well already be a reported bug... However I don't see anything about the WBR element and rendering anywhere yet. Best, Jason Chambers
WBR and NOBR are not standard HTML -- they are a Microsoft extension. They are certainly not in the HTML 3.2 spec (and the page's DOCTYPE claims that it is HTML 3.2 Final).
This looks to me like a DUPL of bug #6347, where the workaround you are using is suggested. Non-standard, simple workaround -> low priority.
