2.Notice the rating for this theme-4 stars from three reviews
3.Scroll down to the "Reviews" section.
4.Notice the ratings associated with the three reviews

observed behavior:
Each review for this add-on has 1 star rating associated with it.So this theme should have 1- star rating overall.Instead,this theme has a 4 star rating.

Isn't it Bayesian, though, which would mean that it's not as simple as that?  I've been seeing us switching ratings to the Bayesian ones elsewhere, lately.

Yes it's bayesian, but the true value should be closer to 1.
