Selection is a bad misnomer, and I'm tired of hoping that my comments on the viewer selection and the viewer's tree selection won't be confused. It's got some nice symmetry with inIViewer::subject, too.
Severity: normal → minor
I think now that subject and object aren't very good, either.  Object itself can be pretty ambiguous, and might lead to needing to qualify it as well.  incoming and outgoing might be better.
