With the new in-tab add-on manager, once an add-on is allowed to install, there is no confirmation that it has installed. This leaves the user unsure as to whether it successfully installed. Furthermore, there is no restart prompt which will leave unexperienced users confused, not knowing how to complete the installation.

With the previous add-ons manager, it popped up once an add-on was installed. This functionality could be restored by making the manager tab open (or switch to it if it is already open). Another possibility is a simple prompt in the style of the "save password" prompt.

Either way, while the direction of making the add-ons manager as unobtrusive as possible is evident, there has to be confirmation (however small) after installing an add-on to maintain a functional interface. This confirmation should also prompt the user to restart.
