Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on a picture 2. click on another picture 3. try to go "back" Actual Results: back doesn't work Expected Results: it should work.

Summary: back/forward button don't work → back/forward buttons don't work
(In reply to comment #2) > Try a new profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles No, it doesn't solve the problem.
back/forward are not part of history

I also have problems with forward/back in Firefox 3.6.8: Sometimes forward replaces the next entry in the tab history with the current, so that the current entry is duplicated, and forwarding once more will proceed to the entry after the replaced one. I'm running Firefox 3.6.8 on Windows XP.
Seeing this too. Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; rv:2.0b5pre) Gecko/20100821 Minefield/4.0b5pre
