If you can narrow down the culprit please report the problem to the author of the addon in question. You can post any info you get here too if you want. Note that FIXED status is for when a bug in the code is fixed by a change from Mozilla. WORKSFORME is if it just works now. This, however, is INVALID as this is a bug in an addon and thus not a Mozilla bug. (unless of course the addon's author happens to be Mozilla, in which case please reopen with more info)

found the culprit its the OMNIBAR which was causing problem. I tried disabling few addons like HideMenuBar, OmniBar, Silvermel & Charamel XT. Once disabled, the address bar started accepting the Enter key strokes. Then one after one i again enabled those addons which i had disabled. But once the OMNIBAR enabled the enter key was not accepting. Mr.Garrett thanks for your immediate response otherwise i had switch over to other Browser. Now i am using again the nighty builds. Thanks. Should i need to mark the status as RESOLVED FIXED now?

(In reply to comment #7) > Should i need to mark the status as RESOLVED FIXED now? No. See comment 4. The status field is for the status of the bug itself and this is a bug in Omnibar. Thus as a Firefox bug report in the Mozilla bug tracker it is invalid, as it's not a Mozilla Firefox bug. It's not that your report is invalid per se, but just that there's nothing anyone here can do about it. Contact Omnibar's developers now and file a bug with them so they can fix their problem.
