The bottom of this page has a feedback thing for its users and its quite interesting how they capture the mood of the users.
Also, the right hand side of the page shows something like "The mood in here is ... " which will help in determining the mood of the users using/reading the article.
I would like to see a similar kind of implementation in the Firefox input.

Just to add more to it, you need to click on the smileys to get the type of mood you want to set there. Some sample words are given but you can still add your own text there.
