User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_3; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/6.0.427.0 Safari/534.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.3a6pre) Gecko/20100614 Minefield/3.7a6pre Minefield 3.7a6pre slows down my Mac due to high CPU and RAM usage. 5 tabs with static web pages result in 100+ percent CPU usage and almost 300 MB RAM usage. In addition, Minefield itself hangs often. The last Minefield 3.7a5pre version were more responsive and did not considerably slow down my Mac. Chrome – as a comparison – uses less than 5 percent CPU and about 180 MB RAM for the same 5 tabs. Reproducible: Always
You need to provide more info. What is in these tabs, does it happen in a new profile, are all your plugins up to day (plugins are things like flash and quicktime)
The issue is no longer reproducible in the latest build Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.3a6pre) Gecko/20100615 Minefield/3.7a6pre.
