This is an internittent bug. I'm seeing that after installing M18, some of my filters will be turned off in the UI (and they are not active). If I turn them on, and click OK, and then open the filters UI again, some filters (not necessarily the same ones) will be off again. Also, this is happening on my work machine (a PIII 550MHz, 192MB), but I can't repro it at home (a PII 300MHz, 128MB).
