Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Not Necessary as this bug is about Enhancement Actual Results: Firefox Menu takes a minimalist approach. Expected Results: Firefox Menu take a minimalist approach but include important menu items like Check for Updates and About this Firefox.
I believe the Firefox Menu has taken a good minimalist approach. However, I believe that keeping Menu items like Check for Update and About this Firefox is good for Manual Updating. If they are excluded, one need to go back to classic menu by pressing alt to perform manual update. Of course pressing alt to perform manual update is not a difficult thing to do, but I believe it will be simpler for the average user, if you include those 2 menu items in the Firefox Menu.
Severity: enhancement → normal
current menu is not finalized, other elements will be added. See bug 556174.
