This bug can be used to coordinate localization of the Projects page on
mozilla.org.  If localized text or HTML is attached, I can check this in to the
site (and we can work toward getting commit access to various localizers).

Re the French attachment 501628 [details] from comment #1, I'm seeing strange characters when I'm opening it.

For this page, there is some content that updates on a regular basis, such as the featured Mozilla-based apps that rotate once a month.  Would it be better to try to keep the localized pages updated regularly or create localized pages that are more permanent (for example we could not include the featured Mozilla-based apps and just link to the Mozilla-based app page for more information)?

As Bugzilla doesn't specify the page encoding when displaying attachment details, the browser picks its default one, that is ISO8859-1, at least for en-US and fr, though the attachment is UTF8 encoded, hence the weird characters.
I sent you the files by email.

More permanent localized pages would be better, especially as we have currently no easy way (Verbatim or l10n SVN repository access to these pages) to update them.

We still need to sort out handling of regularly updating content, but I thought it would be good to go ahead and get something up for a start.

Testing a 4.10 Beta I saw that it opens http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/prerelease.html and I think having that translated would be nice. I'm attaching that as my first contribution.

Besnik, thanks for the localization of firefox/prerelease.html.  It would be good to localize those Firefox developer build pages on mozilla.org, but these are going to get redesigned soon so it probably makes sense to hold off on localizing these for now.  

For now if you want to localize the main projects/index.html page I can get that posted right away.
