Steps to reproduce: 1. Put the testcase on your desktop (assuming you have a ~/mozilla-central/) 2. Run Firefox from the command line, so you can easily see when it exits. 3. Load the testcase. 4. Close the Firefox window. Expected: Firefox process exits quickly. Result: Firefox process sticks around indefinitely.
Seems to be Windows-only.

Hm, I can't reproduce with a recent m-c (6d41df631623) debug or opt build on Win7.
Still happens for me on mozilla-central. Would a hang sample or set of stack traces help? Do you know how I can get one of those on Windows, e.g. using my local debug build?
A stack trace would definitely be useful. There are instructions here for obtaining one using windbg on Windows that look right (but I haven't tested): https://developer.mozilla.org/en/how_to_get_a_stacktrace_with_windbg
I also can't reproduce this. Jesse, is this still happening for you?
Still happens for me.
Jesse do you still see this? I don't have access to ~/mozilla-central/ and sound.ogg
Yes, I still see this.
Attached file stack traces and stuff
